JEFF COLLINS

PRESIDENT

Jeff Collins is a Northeast Ohio native, and a veteran military police officer for the United States Marines. Collins founded Moving Ahead Services in 2005, completing roughly 50 moves in the first year of business. Today, Moving Ahead Services has grown to have multiple offices, and completing tens of thousands of residential and business moves each year. Despite the unrivaled industry growth, the core principals of operation remain centered around integrity, customer service, employee development and community involvement.

Collins built Moving Ahead Services from the ground up, focusing on the highest standards for customer service and support and nurturing strong employee relationships. Forming key ties with industry organizations as well as local and national charitable organizations has allowed Moving Ahead Services to maintain a growing presence in the community and in our industry as a whole.

REGIONAL MANAGER

Adam Gurwell joined the Moving Ahead Services team in the field in 2013.  Excelling in productivity and customer service, he quickly grew to take on additional responsibilities.  Since then, Adam has nurtured relationships with our teams and our customers, leading him to take on the Long Distance Management role for Moving Ahead Services.

Adam currently works with each of our offices in Ohio to maximize efficiency and results, while searching for new opportunities to provide the best services to our current and future customers. His thorough understanding of practical applications coupled with innovative thinking provide for unparalleled strategic support for our initiatives as well as regulatory demands.

HEATHER SIMECEK

MARKETING MANAGER

Heather joined the team in May of 2019 and became the Marketing Manager at Moving Ahead Services. With a Bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University and a background in marketing, she facilitates the day to day marketing initiatives as well as digital and paid marketing objectives. Working closely with our team, Heather also helps facilitate community and networking relationships and continues to monitor and implement new technology and marketing strategies. Outside of Moving Ahead Services, she is a die hard Cleveland Browns fan and you will find her in the stands on  football Sundays. 

AMANDA WARDER

MANAGER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Amanda graduated from Ohio Northern University with a degree in graphic design. With over a decade of accounting and administrative experience, Amanda is passionate about human resources, conflict resolution, and customer service. Amanda oversees all of the accounting, HR, and administrative duties at Moving Ahead Services. When Amanda is not running the office she spends time outdoors attending concerts and hanging out with her family and pets.

GARRET WRIGHT

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Garret is responsible for managing and distributing information throughout the office and to our team. He handles all of the day-to-day paperwork from moving jobs. He is also responsible for all new employee on-boarding and their paperwork. Before starting at Moving Ahead Services, he graduated from Hiram College with a degree in Entrepreneurship. When he is not holding down the office, he spends his free time remodeling his home or crushing it on the hiking trails.

JEREMY STARK

GENERAL MANAGER - PITTSBURGH

Jeremy joined the team in March of 2019. He attended Waynesburg University before enlisting into the United States Marine Corps where he honorably served our country. After leaving the USMC Jeremy got into sales and management where he successfully managed 2 multi-million dollar companies for the last 13 years before joining our team as our General Manager for Pittsburgh. Jeremy oversees the entire Pittsburgh office and runs the day-to-day operations. He lives just outside of Pittsburgh with his wife and 3 children.

GENERAL MANAGER - COLUMBUS

Matt oversees the day-to-day operations in Columbus and he joined the team in 2013. His job entails scheduling, submitting paperwork, doing surveys, handling claims, upkeep of company vehicles and property, clerical tasks, working/supervising in the field, training crew members, and recruiting new employees. When Matt is not working, he is spending time with his family and coaches their extra curricular activities. He also enjoys strength training and competes in power-lifting. 

MIKE WOOD

GENERAL MANAGER - CINCINNATI

Mike overseas the day-to-day operations in Cincinnati. Mike joined the team in February of 2019. He is responsible for scheduling, submitting paperwork, surveys, claims and upkeep of everything local in Cincinnati. He also hires his crew which includes working/supervising in the field and training new members. Mike enjoys to ride his Road King on long distance rides with friends when time permits, he loves the wind therapy.

GENERAL MANAGER - CLEVELAND
HEAD DISPATCH MANAGER

Taylor joined the team in 2014 and worked is way up to his management role. Taylor oversees the day-to-day operations in Cleveland along with handling dispatch matters throughout all of our locations. His job entails scheduling, paperwork, surveys, handling claims, working/supervising in the field and recruiting new employees.

JUSTIN RAMEY

SALES MANAGER
Justin joined the team in May of 2019 and is the Sales Manager at Moving Ahead Services. Justin handles the day to day sales team and customer service. Justin aids the team with day to day sales inquiries and works closely with our dispatch manager and regional manager to complete a variety of service and support related tasks. Justin is also a United States Coast Guard Veteran and in his free time, he coaches the Swim Team at Eastlake North High School.

SALES ASSOCIATE AND CUSTOMER SERVICES
Josh is part of our sales team and customer service, from the first phone call to questions and to moving day, Josh is there to assist with the process. In his free time, he loves composing music and digital photography and videography.
LIZ PATRICK
SALES ASSOCIATE AND CUSTOMER SERVICES
Liz is part of our sales team and customer service, she can assist each and every customer through every phase of the relocation process, from the first phone call to questions and to moving day. When she is not answering phones, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.
KAYLA KAMPPI
SALES ASSOCIATE AND CUSTOMER SERVICES
Kayla is part of our sales team and customer service, she can assist each and every customer through every phase of the relocation process, from the first phone call to questions and to moving day, Kayla is there to assist with the process. Out of the office, she loves the outdoors and you can find her traveling, or spending time with her family.

DARIO JUKIC
LONG DISTANCE MANAGER

Dario handles all of our long-distance dispatch calls and day-to-day operations. He handles many different tasks that include paperwork, making sure our team is on schedule and handles the necessities of making sure our moving team gets to and from the moves safely and on-time. Dario graduated from Walsh University with a Bachelors in Corporate Communication. He is an avid soccer fan and spends his free time watching the games and attending sporting events.

ALEX SULLIVAN
DISPATCH
Alex joined the team in June of 2019. Alex is part of our dispatch team, aiding in sales calls, scheduling, and the follow-up process. He is able to assist with every phase of the relocation process. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and spending time with his family. Alex is an avid basketball fan and loves to play.
AARON CARLSON
DISPATCH
Aaron is a part of our dispatch team and handles dispatch calls from customers and our moving team. He assists with making sure our teams are on track and know their schedules for the days. In his free time, you can find him spending time with his family or catching a Cleveland Sporting Event.
RICH GREENWALT
WAREHOUSE MANAGER
Rich is our warehouse manager, he handles everything inside our warehouse from maintaining all the storage areas to making sure our trucks are running and look great on the roadway. When he is not in the warehouse he spends his free time coming up with new ideas and building furniture.
