COLLINS

JEFF COLLINS

PRESIDENT

Jeff Collins is a Northeast Ohio native, and a veteran military police officer for the United States Marines. Collins founded Moving Ahead Services in 2005, completing roughly 50 moves in the first year of business. Today, Moving Ahead Services has grown to have multiple offices, and completing tens of thousands of residential and business moves each year. Despite the unrivaled industry growth, the core principals of operation remain centered around integrity, customer service, employee development and community involvement.

Collins built Moving Ahead Services from the ground up, focusing on the highest standards for customer service and support and nurturing strong employee relationships. Forming key ties with industry organizations as well as local and national charitable organizations has allowed Moving Ahead Services to maintain a growing presence in the community and in our industry as a whole.

 

GURWELLADAM GURWELL

REGIONAL MANAGER

Adam Gurwell joined the Moving Ahead Services team in the field in 2013.  Excelling in productivity and customer service, he quickly grew to take on additional responsibilities.  Since then, Adam has nurtured relationships with our teams and our customers, leading him to take on the Long Distance Management role for Moving Ahead Services.

Adam currently works with each of our offices in Ohio to maximize efficiency and results, while searching for new opportunities to provide the best services to our current and future customers. His thorough understanding of practical applications coupled with innovative thinking provide for unparalleled strategic support for our initiatives as well as regulatory demands and our partnership with Stevens Worldwide.

DEREK BROWN

GENERAL MANAGER - PITTSBURGH

Derek Brown is a Pittsburgh native that was raised in Allegheny and Westmoreland County. Thanks to his tenacious work ethic, he was recruited by Lake Erie College to further his football career. While attending Lake Erie he was a part of multiple charities and clothing/food drives held by the football team. One of his core values is to have a purpose larger than yourself. While in college he started working for Moving Ahead Services as a crew member. In a short time, Derek worked his way up to the position of crew leader and in December of 2017 with a bachelors of science, he accepted his new position as the General Manager of the Moving Ahead Services Pittsburgh office. In January of 2018, The Moving Ahead Services Pittsburgh office was opened and ready for business!
Derek is responsible for the oversight of the entire Moving Ahead Services Pittsburgh office. This entails scheduling, submitting paperwork, doing surveys, handling claims, upkeep of company vehicles and property, clerical tasks, working/supervising in the field, training crew members, recruiting new employees, and marketing.

 

JASON WILLIS

GENERAL MANAGER - COLUMBUS

Jason handles the day to day operations for the Columbus market.  Previously serving other relocation companies in the operations manager role, Jason has extensive experience in the industry.
Jason is passionate about his family, including his children and their extra curricular activities - When he isn't in the office he is cheering from the side lines!

CINCINNATI GENERAL MANAGER

Aaron joined Moving Ahead Services in 2016, responsible for the day to day operations and strategic initiatives in the Cincinnati market.  Aaron's excellent work ethic combined with a passion for people and relocation make our Cinci office a stand out in the industry.

HEAD DISPATCH MANAGER

Taylor recently transitioned into the role of Dispatch Manager in our Cleveland office, after starting his career with Moving Ahead Services in the field in 2014.  Taylor displays an excellent work ethic and a strong drive to grow and develop strategic services both in the office and for our customers in the field.
As a Customer Service specialist, Taylor assists in all phases of our customer moves - From the initial contact to quoting, walkthroughs, scheduling and beyond.  Working closely with our dispatch and regional managers, Taylor completes a variety of service and support related tasks.

MARKETING MANAGER

Heather Argenti is the Marketing Manager at Moving Ahead Services, facilitating day to day marketing initiatives as well as digital and paid marketing objectives.  Heather aids our team in reaching current and potential customers across the web and in our communities. With a Bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University and a background in sales and marketing - Her efforts have assisted Moving Ahead Services in providing our current and future customers with a great online experience.
 
Working closely with our team, Heather also helps facilitate community and networking relationships, and continues to monitor and implement new technology and marketing strategies.

MANAGER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Amanda graduated from Ohio Northern University with a degree in graphic design. With over a decade of accounting and administrative experience, Amanda is passionate about human resources, conflict resolution, and customer service.

Amanda oversees all of the accounting, HR, and administrative duties at Moving Ahead Services.

Josh is a customer service and experience agent, striving to ensure each and every customer is assisted through every phase of the relocation process.  From the very first call to follow up, scheduling and through to moving day - Josh is an intricate part of the process.

DOMINIC DELCIAPPO

SALES ASSOCIATE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

Dominic's role serves as a customer relations manager. Dominic assists new and potential customers with there relocation needs.

As a Baldwin Wallace graduate, Dominic majored in Sports Management with minors in Marketing and Outdoor Recreation. Dominic is a strong advocate for the Scleroderma Foundation and has been asked to speak at conferences about this disease.
