UWLC Feed Lake County Results
UWLC Feed Lake County – Totals Are In
The United Way of Lake County’s drive officially wrapped up last week with impressive results! With over 30,000 residents dependent upon food assistance, the need is prevalent in our Northeast Ohio community. Together our customers, coworkers, family and friends pulled together a record amount of donations! We are looking forward to continuing to partner with UWLC – and can’t wait to hear the final program tallies.
UWLC Feed Lake County at Moving Ahead Services
As part of our ongoing efforts for Move for Hunger, we partnered with UWLC Feed Lake County to bring some local motivation to our food collection. As a result, our incredible customers and team members donated over 550 pounds of food over the course of the food drive. From cleaning out cupboards to grabbing extras at the grocery store – These donations will go on to be distributed to those in desperate need.
Our gratitude to our generous customers and employees is immense. There is absolutely no way we could help to impact so many lives without YOU!
UWLC Feed Lake County Dine to Donate
Dine to Donate on April 21st was also a smashing success. In addition to sponsoring the event – We participated in area restaurants offering a portion of their proceeds for breakfast, lunch and dinner! UWLC Feed Lake County reported that the 41 participating restaurants donated totals that equalled almost 57,000 meals for those in need.
Unfortunately for many, the harsh reality of the summer months can mean children that go without school lunches and an increased need for food assistance. We offer donation pick up services for all of our customers in Cleveland and Columbus, as well as the surrounding areas. Simply let us know you’d like to participate! We will provide you clear details and boxes to pack up your non-perishable food items.
Here are some ideas on what to donate!
