Our homegrown moving company is happy to report a need to move to a new facility, to allow for more space, due to our measured growth in every market we serve.
A two-year thought process has resolved in Moving Ahead Services going from renting a 7,500 sqft space to now owning a 40,000 sqft facility, a strategic business decision that will better serve our customers going forward. Our new facility and location is part of our strategic business plan to continuously improve our services and keep our own costs low. We strive to make ourselves a better company for our loyal clients and new customers. Our 50+ employees are thrilled to remain based in Willoughby, a suburb on the East side of Cleveland. In choosing the new location, the company reiterates its commitment to maintaining employee morale as much as it shows our goal of delivering excellent customer service.
Cleveland offers a variety of great areas for warehouse spaces that are necessary operating requirements for a moving company. True to its industrial roots, the city caters to manufacturers and industrial activities, and the decision process for Moving Ahead Services considered many factors. First, the location had to be cost-effective. Second, it had to offer the right amount of end-user storage space, business-operation space for trucks, supplies, crates, etc., and office-operations space to create an efficient and friendly environment for our valued staff. Third, we preferred to stay in the heart of Willoughby allowing for easy access to the Interstate and the greater Cleveland area.
The new location is in the same office park as the previous warehouse, located at Topps Industrial Parkway in Willoughby. We invite our family, friends, and current and new customers to visit our new location, tour our facility, and meet our office and warehouse staff.
