Van Lines – Van lines will typically provide a pick up date, and then a drop off window / date spread. Your belongings can be transferred from truck to truck and warehouse to warehouse, all loaded with other household moves. If this schedule and timeline works for you, great! For many, the specific delivery date is essential.

Dedicated Freight – Dedicate freight means that the company that packs / loads your belongings at your departure is the same company that unloads and delivers your belongings at your destination. This means the company that you select stays with your belongings every step of the way and you get specific pick up and delivery dates.
