Since its inception, the Cleveland Marathon has generated over $20 million to support local communities.
That’s because this notable event is more than just a race — it’s a cause that promotes fitness awareness and gives back to charities.
As such, Moving Ahead Services could not be prouder to be a 2021 partner. As the official moving and storage provider of the Cleveland Marathon, we are eager to help the event make an even bigger impact.
Read on to learn more about the race, our partnership, and how you can make a difference.
What is the Cleveland Marathon?
The Cleveland Marathon is an annual race that takes place in Cleveland, Ohio. It began in 1978 to bring positivity to a city that was facing a severe blizzard.
Originally, the race focused on providing a fun activity for locals and promoting fitness education. As the years went on, the event started attracting participants from across the country and beyond. The establishment of 501(c)3 Cleveland Marathon Charities in 2007 solidified the organization’s commitment to local charities.
Our Partnership With the Cleveland Marathon
Moving Ahead Services launched in 2005 with a fierce commitment to ethical business practices. Since then, our values have not changed.
We are passionate about giving back to the communities that make our business possible. Accordingly, we seek to do good in our service areas ranging from Tampa to Pittsburgh to, yes, Cleveland.
While we partner with several organizations, the Cleveland Ohio Marathon has a special place in our hearts. We love that the event gives money to worthy charities like Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and Prayers From Maria.
And, of course, the event itself is tons of fun!
Participants from all over the world come together to indulge in their love of running. The event is very inspiring and shows us the impact that Cleveland Marathon partners and participants can have.
